KILDARE CEMETERY
KILDARE, CASS COUNTY, TEXAS
LOCATION: From intersection of Hwy 77 & 43, go south on Hwy 43 6.1
miles to Bivins, take Hwy 248, go 6.1 miles, turn left at Cemetery
sign, go .3 miles to cemetery.
Land for the cemetery was donated by the Moore Family. In 1937 an
additional one acre of land was purchased by Mr. & Mrs. John T.
Moore and the cemetery was fenced. Today the cemetery is cared for
by the Kildare Cemetery Association which was formed in 1982. V
Cemetery was read 29-APR-1998 by Charles Steger, Gerald Hammock,
John Livingston, Melba Tims & Kathryn McAlexander. Cemetery was
read north to south beginning in the northwest corner.
This cemetery is know to be predominantly white.
The oldest known grave: SECTION A, ROW 9
MOORE Risdon O9-JUL-1803 26-MAY-1868
